I ran into my cousin Aaron and his wife a Pita Jungle a couple days ago. I hadn't seen him in a while and it was good to catch up. He asked me if I was still into photography. I realized that many of the pictures I take just stay saved in my computer or on Mom's fridge. I decided to start posting them on this blog.
Here are two to start off with. I reduced the size to make then easier to publish. They are both really big images. I also added a watermark. Click to make them a little bigger.
I took this early morning at Straight Pond n Yellowstone National Park in Sept '08. We had stopped to watch 3 wolves run across the ridge on the other side of the the pond. I took 2 quick shots and merged them to a panorama in Photoshop.
This is my first attempt at a HDR (High Dynamic Range) photograph. HDR photos are make by taking multiple over and underexposed images and combining them together to make a higher range of tones than you can normally get with a single picture. This is from March 09 at Red Rock Park in Las Vegas.
