No, the title isn't hubris. I have done a number of projects that many people have asked to see pictures of. Usually the first comment I get is, "You did that?" My usual response, "Yeah. I did that."

Kitchen/Living Room Refresh

And here are the pics from after a little painting and seriously reducing my cabinet space... Someday the hideous tile will be gone. This I swear.
